Company Profile:
Ava Pharmaceutical Laboratory was established in 1962 as per Ministry of Health issued Manufacturing Authoriza-
tion and was transferred in accordance with the contract of compromise in 1982 to Modava Pharmaceutical Com-
pany (Ltd.) which was formerly registered as No. 16981 in Tehran Companies Registration and Industrial Ownership
Department in 1973.
Modava Pharmaceutical Company proceeded to attract partnership from international world-known pharmaceutical
companies for developing its activities, which finally succeeded to sign a contract for under license production of
Swiss Novartis and German Desitin products in 2011 and 2012.
This company, with pursuing its development scheme of its under-license production and aiming to increase do-
mestic manufacturing, took measures to launch a new site. Finally, the second site was reopened naming Modava
Pharmaceutical Company (Ltd.) under the license of Novartis as a new manufacturing company in Shafayab Group
parent enterprise in 2016, and the primary site commenced its activities from 2017 as Teb Mofid Nikan Pharmaceu-
tical Company (Mofid Pharma.) which started to produce solid dosage form medicines after a total renovation of
production lines, equipment, water and air treatment systems based on the latest standards.

Production Lines:
Teb Mofid Nikan Pharmaceutical Company produces more than 85 different products in three production lines in the
form of tablets, capsules, sachets, powder and a variety type of medication classes including cardiovascular, analgesic
and anti-inflammatory, supplements, neuropsychiatric etc.
In this company, there is a separate line for hazardous and a dedicated facility for under license production. The pro-
duction lines of Teb Mofid Nikan Pharmaceutical Company were completely revamped observing standards in 2017
and with this respect all equipment and devices are being replaced with those of GMP and international standards.
