Company Profile:
MODAVA Pharmaceutical Co. has started solid dosage forms manufacturing with name of “Ava” Pharmaceutical
Lab. in 1970 and then in 1982 its name changed to MODAVA Co. The company initially located at Ahmad-Abad
near Tehran, and then moved to Hashtgherd in 2006. Modava engaged in local manufacturing of Novartis Pharma
products since 2010 and new production site is constructed and launched under Novartis Pharma GMP standards in
winter 2015. Modava new site is an state of art in GMP and aligned with EU and PICs regulations and requirements.
Modava is delighted to develop and manufacture new products including orphan drugs in the new production
facilities with international GMP standards. In 2022, Modava is honored to be approved as a pharma knowledge-
enterprise for producing Agnalys (Nicorandil) Tablets and Miglumod (Miglustat) Capsule.

Production Lines:
The solid production line of Modava Co. consists of best European machineries as FBD Granulation system, Tablet
press, Tablet coating, Capsule filling, and Packaging machines.

Modava was certified for under license manufacturing of Novartis products based on EU and PICs GMP guidelines
